1.Acharya Mahapragya On Desire

“Desire itself is an inspiration.”Every man desires to do something in life.Where there is no desire no way would open out.Yet too much of desire creates problems.If we understand where to draw the limits to our ambition then we would experience a constant need to keep our inspiration alive and the desire to make something of one’s life would never be ignored.

2. Acharya Mahapragya On Discipline

Discipline has its own beauty, it is not all slavery. And freedom has its own dangers and is not all beautiful. A real person is always capable of infinite discipline and infinite freedom – he is not a slave or an addict to anything.

3. Acharya Mahapragya On Balanced Thoughts

The moment the ideas of balance manifest in the conscious, I will take that moment to be a moment of realization of the Supreme soul. Equanimous thought is balanced thought. Any kind of superiority or inferiority complex results in perverted thinking. The criterion for wholesome thinking is to determine whether thought is born of equanimity or not.

 4. Acharya Mahapragya On Success.

If you want to be successful, have faith in your capabilities. Concentrate on it. Experience the feeling of oneness with your guru or ideal. Concentrate on the center of bliss [located near the heart]. Just perceive and experience. Do not think about the favorable and the unfavorable. You will experience the awakenings of a new energy.

5. Acharya Mahapragya On Anger. 

Anger is active sadness; sadness is inactive anger. They are not two things. Watch your own behavior. When do you find yourself sad? You find yourself sad only in situations where you cannot be angry. The boss in the office says something and you cannot be angry; it is uneconomical. You cannot be angry and you have to go on smiling — then you become sad. The energy has become inactive. You come home, and with your wife you find a small thing, anything irrelevant, and you become angry,Forgiveness is the solution to vanish the anger permanently.

6. Acharya Mahapragya On The Development Of Spiritual Consciousness.

If tranquility is more and knowledge less, then spiritual consciousness can be developed at one’s will. If tranquility is less and knowledge is more, spiritual consciousness can not be developed at one’s will.

Spiritual practitioner can’t be fully free from materials, but he can be free from the attachments for materials. Level of this freedom depends on individual’s practice. Experiencing this liberated state is true joy & happiness.
